Welcome to the Story: The Crows and the Snake
Deep in a lush forest stood a grand banyan tree.
There lived two loving crows — Mrs. Ka and Mr. Ka — who decided to build their nest among its strong branches. Life was peaceful and happy until danger slithered into their home — Bhujang, a greedy snake, living in a hollow of the same tree.
When the snake began stealing their eggs, the crows were heartbroken. They cried, they grieved — but they didn’t give up.
With the help of their clever friend Lomaka the fox, they found a way to protect their home and outsmart the snake.
This story shows children how even small creatures can solve big problems — not through strength or anger, but through thinking, planning, and working together.
Encourage your child to reflect and talk:
How do you think Mrs. Ka and Mr. Ka felt when they lost their eggs?
Was the snake really evil, or just being himself?
What could the crows have done differently?
What would you do if you were in their place?
Empathy: Understanding others’ feelings, even when they act wrongly.
Critical Thinking: Looking at problems from different angles.
Problem-Solving: Finding creative, non-violent solutions.
Awareness & Decision-Making: Learning to observe and think before acting.
